West Fork Capital is the investing entity of a fifth generation, PNW-based family office with roots in the timber industry that date back over 100 years. We invest our private family capital in a diversified manner with a long term and opportunistic perspective.

West Fork Capital, and its principals, have been allocating capital for 30+ years across the investment spectrum including best in class hedge funds, private equity and venture capital firms, as well as directly in real estate, growth equity, and sponsor-led private equity investments. We seek strategies and value-added partners and sponsors with superior alignment to our unique, long-term investing objectives of generating superior long-term investment results, balancing preservation of capital and reasonable tax-advantaged returns. We believe our historical success has been most influenced by our patient approach, developing long-term relationships, and targeting capital-constrained opportunities.

West Fork Capital is the investing entity of West Fork Management – a fifth generation family business founded under the name Murray Pacific by Lowell Thomas Murray in 1911. The company’s history is deeply rooted in the Pacific Northwest timber industry, having owned and operated an active tree farm located near Mineral, Washington for over 100 years. Today we are a diversified investment firm funded entirely by private family capital, seeking long-term opportunities that fit within our well-defined goals and objectives.
